Fun and Games
Fun and games was the second half of the two hour long cycle premier. The 13 finalists traveled to New York and were taken to their house on the upper east side.
Challenge
The girls walked in a runway show for Laura Poretzky. The show had a good girl/bad girl theme and each girl was assigned either good or bad. There was no challange winner.
Photo Shoot
The first finalist photo shoot took place in Central Park. Each of the girls was assigned a childhood game because Tyra believes girls grow up too fast. Fadil Berisha was the photographer.

Sandra - Hide and Seek

Aminat - London Bridge
Nijah - Musical Chairs
Allison - Double Dutch

Celia - Hula Hoop
Isabella - Dodgeball
Jessica - Jacks
Judging
Each girl got critiqued and then Tyra called the names of the 12 girls who will continue. The girls are in order from best picture to worst and the judges' critiques are listed below.
Allison - Adorable
Fo - Her picture didn't capture ring around they rosey and she didn't look like a professional model
Teyona - Good picture but her small head was pushed back and looked smaller
London - Good smile, angle, and overall picture
Celia - Good picture especially for not knowing how to hula hoop
Nijah - Best face and hair and had a sparkle in her eyes
Kortnie - Pointed her leg out too much
Natalie - Stunning picture but Paulina doesn't think she has potential
Aminat - Legs too twisted
Tahlia - Pointed her leg too much and didn't do a good job portraying movement
Jessica - Good angle but her picture didn't portray jacks
Sandra - Didn't walk down the entire runway in the Laura Poretzky show and looked scared in her picture
Isabella - Picture was a confusing mess and her hands were in front of her face
Isabella went home with the worst picture and Allison's top picture was displayed in the house.
Top Picture
Drama
When the girls arrived in New York they were given they keys to their new house. Because Celia was the first to grab the keys, she was told she got to pick her bed first. When it came time for her to pick a bed, they were all full so she moved Sandra's things onto the floor and took her bed. The girls then realized that there were only 12 beds in the house. However, both Sandra and Celia ended up with a bed because London volunteered to sleep on the floor.
At the Laura Poretzky show each girl was wearing short dresses or shorts. Tahlia was the only one completely covered because of her burn scars. She was angry during the show but realized, after Tyra talked to her, that some designers will want to cover up her scars.
