Do You Like The Way I Look was the makeover episode. The twelve remaining finalists got new hairstyles and new looks from John Barrett at Bergdorff's.

Allison - Long, big blonde hair

Celia - Medium to short hair
Aminat - Wavy hair, lost her weave
Kortnie - Red, wavy, long hair

Teyona - Long, wavy slicked back hair

Challenge
Elyssa Starkman, a Covergirl representative, creates a "Covergirl wall", normally found in Wal Mart stores, in New York City. The wall had to be created because there are no Wal Mart stores located in the city. The girls were put in four teams and were informed about new Covergirl Exact Eyelights. The teams then had to find a girl off the street who would agree to go back to the wall and try Covergirl products. Their challenge was to show the girl the wall and inform her about Covergirl products.

Team #1 Aminat, Celia, Sandra - Did a good job informing the girl about products and an especially good job showing her the "Covergirl Wall but Sandra didn't talk much.
Team #2 Fo, Kortnie, Teyona - Were too talkative over each other and seemed frantic the entire time.
Team #3 London, Jessica, Tahlia - Did the best job with applying makeup but didn't advertise the Covergirl products at all.
Team #4 Nijah, Natalie, Allison - Never showed the girl the "Covergirl Wall".

Team #1 won the challange and was featured in a Covergirl advertisement.

Photo Shoot
The girls were asked to hold their own lights during the photo shoot so they were lit up while other girls were dark in the background. Nigel Barker was the photographer for the shoot.

Judging
Nole Marin was the guest judge. Each girl got critiqued and then Tyra called the names of the 11 girls who will continue. The girls are in order from best picture to worst and the judges' critiques are listed below.

Teyona - Rocked it
Celia - Fabulous, always focused, looked like a model at judging, was told she was focused on even when she was the girl in the background
Allison - Quirky, fantastic
Natalie - Phenomenal
London - Energetic, dramatic
Nijah - No energy in eyes, looked like a beautiful corpse
Tahlia - Didn't look like a model
Sandra - Didn't create good tension
Kortnie - Didn't look like she was in the moment, didn't seem invested in the competition
Aminat - Lit herself out of the picture, didn't have a good facial expression
Fo - Looked like she was distracted in the picture and blamed it on her haircut
Jessica - Created bad tension and looked mean

Jessica went home with the worst picture and Teyona's top picture was displayed in the house.

Drama
During the makeovers, Natalie started crying and wouldn't let anyone touch her hair because she was told it was going to be cut short. However, Tyra actually didn't plan to change her hair at all.

Fo said she felt like a boy with her short haircut and she thought it was unfair the rest of the girls were given long hair. She continued to talk about her hair throughout the episode blaming her bad picture on it. At judging Tyra told her she needed to get over her hair if she wanted to continue in the competition. Her continual complaining is one of the reasons she was in the bottom two.

When the girls go out to dinner Sandra gets mad that Aminat is drinking.
